Great Focus system

Love the back viewscreen pivot .and viewing .. Better focusing system and the wifi is handy too .. Make sure you download the sony Playmemories program too

Great Camera

Upgraded from A580. The A77 Mk II is quite a bit better in most respects. Usable ISO at much higher.
Can't find much in the instruction manual. My biggest problems is running through batteries. I can't figure out how to keep the View Finder working but shut off live-view on the LCD. Where my A580 allowed me to shoot for 2 days on one battery, the Mk II uses 2 or 3 batteries a day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've found this camera to be head and shoulders above the competition regarding features, ease of use and overall quality. Sony products will continue to me in my arsenal of photographic and electronic equipment

Terrific Camera

This is a dramatic improvement over the A77 in both AF speed and versatility. Once you get the hang of its new features, the shots can be amazing. The initial setup can be a little daunting, but knowing your options can only improve your pictures. I really like the ability to use a mobile device to control the camera, but wish that it hadn't been a trade off for GPS.

Great camera. The new improved auto focus is fantastic. Love being able to bracket 5 shots for my HDR. Images are spectacular. Could not be happier.

Having upgraded from a Sony a65, the first thing I noticed is the increased speed of the processor, which is demonstrated in HDR Mode. HDR now takes less than 2 seconds to process, much faster than the older a65 processor.
