Best Dish Washer I ever had

Washes great and is really quiet. Has a convenient light that lets you know the dishes are cleaned. This is perfect for an open concept house where extra noise can be an issue.

This is a beautiful, well-built machine. Does a great job on the dishes, and it is very, very quiet. The bottle washing feature is a great idea. The only "feature" I do not like on this DW is the leak detection sensor. After six months of use, the sensor thought it detected a leak, and the DW would not operate. I've used DWs for 45 years, and installed five of them myself, and leaks have never been a problem; I have no idea why GE thought this sensor was a good idea. I did shut the power off as recommened by the manual, waited a couple of hours and turned the power back on, but the machine didn't reset. The only option one has when the sensor goes off is to call a repairman. Fortunately, GE service was on the spot. The repairman replaced the sensor at no cost (DW is still under warranty), and moved it up higher so I hope this won't be a problem in the future. The repairman did note the sensor is "a little sensitive" and he hoped GE would remedy that. Aside from this issue, the DW is great.

The salesman said I wouldn't even know it was on and he was correct!!
First time I turned it on had to put my ear against door to be sure it was running.

Nice dishwasher

This dishwasher has some nice features: a good selection of wash cycles, boost temperature, delay start, and is extremely quiet. I have only used this product for about 3 weeks, but so far I'm pleasantly surprised with its performance. Dishes are easy to arrange in the top and bottom; however, the utensil basket is not well designed. There's nothing inside the basket to hold them in place, and the little hole you stick them in is not enough to make them stay in place. I feel that the basket should have several smaller compartments rather than just one large one. There are 2 additional smaller baskets attached to the sides of the main basket. A design flaw in my opinion, not a performance flaw. I've only been using the normal cycle with heat off and my dishes come out sparkly clean every time. The rinse agent dispenser has a very small hole to refill--another minor design flaw. I don't usually buy GE products but when we bought our new house, all appliances were included and could not be changed. So far I'm happy with this dishwasher.

Solid, solid dishwasher

First off, I want to start by saying that this is the most high-end dishwasher that I've ever purchased, so it is by far and away the best one I've ever used. It's extremely quiet, sleek, and does a great job on my dishes (for the most part). My only complaint would be that occasionally, it doesn't get all of the food off of my dishes, but that might be an issue with how I'm loading it more than how the washer performs...Also, I often find that the drying cycle still leaves quite a bit of water on my dishes, so I usually have to give them a quick shake into the sink or a quick rub-down with a towel before I can put them away. Overall, a solid dishwasher though. Very happy with it!
