This dishwasher does not clean as well as my older one that I replaced it with. Requires dishes to be scrubbed completely clean prior to loading. Guessing the new "green" guidelines does not allow enough water to completely clean the dishes. Not very happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Jury Is Still Out - But It's Quiet!

Our biggest concern was finding a QUIET dishwasher. I will say, generally, this is one of the quietest dishwashers we have owned. You can still hear it at times and it makes me wonder if maybe I just loaded it wrong? I can do the dishes AND watch TV for the first time. Great slate finish with Stainless Steel handle, stainless steel interior and lots of wash options - including a bottle washer. With all that said - here are my complaints thus far. The first unit was DOA. It had water IN the control panel so another one was sent. The second unit needed a hose and clamp replaced within 3 months of operation. Since the repair I've still had a few mysterious wet spots underneath. Purchase the extended warranty!!! I did so at least I know it's covered. Even with power dry on and sanitize temps, it still leaves plastics dripping.
I would recommend this to a friend!
