We have this unit for about a week now. It cleans better than the old one and it is quite too. So far so good.

Stupid Button Design

I bought this in May and just installed recently. However, I didn't realize that the buttons are not on side of the panel but the top of the panel. I wonder why GE would design this way. I can't see the button choice when I close the door panel and my hand can't barely reach the button. The height from floor to counter top is enough, but there is a hot water pipe on the floor, which is about 3 inches height and the bottom panel with the leaking sensor can barely installed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Adjustable height rack & power dry!!

We've been using this dishwashers for about two months now and it has been great! I am going to branch out and try some different settings since in a few cases using normal wash we still had food stuck on a couple of plates but this machine is much nicer looking and better performing than any other one we have used!

Replacement for older GE

We just got this as a replacement for another GE Dishwasher. It is incredibly quiet. The one thing I don't like is that you can't actually see where it is at in the cycle once the dishwasher is running. On our older model you could see what "min"it was at.

Decent Dishwasher

Cleans dishes well, concerned about the cheap internal racks. The racks seem cheap and not very sturdy. Expect them to not withstand normal use.
