BUILDER INSTALL/PKG. EASY TO USE FEATURES. I FIND THAT LARGE POTS/PANS ARE NOT AS EASY TO FIT. WISH IT WAS MORE OPEN. THERE ARE MANY COMPARTMENTS THAT DON'T ALLOW YOU TO FIT MANY DISHES INSIDE.

I've had this dishwasher 3 months and so happy with it. It is so quiet that you can barely hear it running when you stand right next to it.

Sometimes the dishes come out with fine grit on them but that was because we were loading the bowls on the wrong rack. The manual says we should load bowls on the top rack, not the bottom rack. But, sometimes cups and sippy cup lids come out with grit on them - maybe that's due to using the wrong detergent or not using a drying agent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans fairly well as long as it keeps working

I seem to always expect more out of a dishwasher. It cleans well as long as you prewash the dishes prior to putting them into the dishwasher. I have a family that has a habit of not rinsing dishes after they are used so food gets stuck on really well. I am very happy with how quiet this dishwasher is. With that being said, I feel I need to mention that I have bought 3 GE dishwashers in the last 11 years. Of the 3, 2 of them had electrical problems within the first 3 months of purchasing the units. The first was able to be repaired by replacing a circuit board and the current one is being replaced as unrepairable. I gave GE's product 2 stars because of the three GE dishwashers I have had a 66% failure rate is not very good. To my surprise their customer service has been great and I have not had any problem working with them. They have been attentive on staying informed through the process of this current problem we have been having. I am hoping that the new dishwasher that is being delivered, which we are still waiting for, will not have any problems because we have been without a dishwasher for 3 months now. Looking forward to having a dishwasher that works instead of sitting in my cabinets looking good.
