Quiet - Cleans really well

I love the size of the interior of this dishwasher. It is easy to fit large pots, pans, dishes etc. Super quiet. Cleans well.

We read lots of reviews about issues with drying, but are finding the only things that do not dry (power dry setting) is plastic items. Previous dishwashers we've had also did not dry plastic items very well.
The only drawbacks we've found are the price, it's a little high, and sometimes the 'gel pack' soaps are not completely dissolved and a small portion remains in the dispenser.
The major plus is the space and you can't beat the noise level! The only time we can tell when it's running is during the 'draining portion' of the cycles, but that's due to the way our sink draining is setup.

Very Quiet!

Purchased in Nov 2015. Bought the dishwasher to match the refridge, mircowave & side in range. I read all the product reviews and information. The information provided-by GE about the "heated" dry is confusing. I wanted a dishwasher that has a heated dry cycle. The heated dry cycle on this model does NOT use a heating element in the bottom of the unit. Instead the "heated" air is used to dry off the dishes. As a result, I now have to plan washing the dishes with ample dry time or I have to dry the plastic items. The cermanic dishes, silverware, and glassware all dry quickly. But the plastic items do not, unless I allow ample time for them to dry.
The quietness of this model makes up for not having a true "heated dry" cycle. This dishwasher is so quiet-I can't tell it is running! LOVE IT! When we were shopping around for a dishwasher-this model had the lowest decible rating. I look forward to starting the dishwasher as soon as we load it up. No more waiting until we go to bed and the delayed cycle is set after we fall asleep. We all are still adjusting to the rack layout-different from the previous dishwasher.
This unit cleans the dishes well. But we rinse off most of the left over food particles. We only use the santi-rinse, heated wash, "heated"dry cycles.
The overall apperance of the dishwasher is nice. The handle is rounded/soft not square/industrial looking. Very pleasing. The stainless shows finger prints and smudges. This bothered me at first, I have since gotten use to the smudges. A finish of "no finger prints and smudges" would have been nice. I have started to use a stainless cleaner about once a week or so.
The GE Profile Applicances look great in my kitchen.

I haven't went throug a lot of dishwashers in my life but most of them are loud , this one is quiet and well made ,like it should be, also caries a punch of features so far so good GE !!!

Selected during our kitchen remodel. Have used almost a month just using 'light wash' and the dishes come out squeaky clean! We cannot believe how quiet this dishwasher is. Love the handle for hanging our kitchen towel.
