Not to happy. On our second one and still having problems with it. We purchase a new house and upgrade to this model and we are thinking that was a mistake.

We purchased this to replace a very cheap & basic model. We can't believe the difference. You can hardly hear this unit when it is washing and the dishes come out incredibly clean. Very happy so far with this product.

Almost!

This would be a five star rating if it weren't for the terrible design of the bottom rack as it slides out. It's constantly rolling off of its track. So annoying! I wish I had purchased a different model.
If you can put up with a really annoying bottom rack that screws up about 25 percent of the times you roll it out, the washer does clean well and is very quiet.

Could be better

I got the dishwasher, along with stove, microwave and refrigerator when we remodeled our kitchen a few months ago. I really like all the appliances, but I think the dishwasher could be a lot better for the money. I do like all the cycle selections, and it is amazingly quiet! -- Dishes just don't fit very good. Some of the tines need to be spaced further apart to accommodate larger/wider plates and bowls and casserole dishes, without having to lay them down and take up so much space. I have had to redo some plates, because they didn't get clean. I also wish there was a separate larger rack/basket for larger utensils. The top rack is also not very conducive for loading cereal bowls - tines are unevenly spaced. In other words, I have to do A LOT of rearranging on the top and bottom to make dishes fit -- without necessarily being a big load. My previous dishwasher spoiled me because it had the best arrangement I have ever had for dishes. I had plenty of room, and could load wide dishes without laying them down. It also had a separate removable rack, where I could load some larger utensils/misc. items. The arrangement of tines on the top rack were great for cereal bowls down the middle with enough space on each side for several glasses. It was also very quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Average repair call is once a month for 8 months

Love GE profile appliances and have had them for many years. Had GE profile dishwasher in last home (installed 2009) that would clean ANYTHING we put in. We are VERY disappointed with poor performance on this dishwasher. It leaks, it doesn't clean all the time, but it is very quiet. Repairs average almost once per month for the last 8 months since installed. We keep a special supply of old bath towels in the kitchen to dry up the water that comes out when we open it 6 out of 7 times. I am hoping this is just a lemon, because we have had such a great track record with GE appliances. This is making us shop around and considering other brands for our next purchase.

Where's The Heat Cycle?
on March 18, 2015

After running the dishwasher for 3 hours and using Power Dry, I open the door to find my dishes still damp, "but clean", it doesn't seem to have an actual heating element. I guess the "Energy" feature means no heat drying. My 27 year old Kitchen Aid runs a complete cycle in 57 minute and the dishes are extremely hot, that's energy saving!
