I just installed this, and after 3 or 4 loads I am extremely disappointed with this units ability to dry the my dishes.

Poor performance - I do NOT recommend!

I've had this dishwasher 2 months and every time I empty it, I end up with a few dishes that didn't get clean. I've tried different wash cycles and different detergents and nothing seems to help. I do rinse my dishes before I put them in(more than I ever have with other dishwashers) and that doesn't seem to solve the problem either. Really disappointed with this one!

We just had our new dishwasher installed and I was worried that it wasn't running...because we couldn't hear it when we were out in the garage! Nice and quite unit that works great!

Poor performance since day one

The dishwasher was selected by my builder and came with my new house and appliance package - GE Profile which I thought was high quality. It has been nothing but a stream of service calls since day one. One year old and have already replaced GE stove, washer, and dryer. Both the fridge and dishwasher have had numerous service calls and parts replaced. The first call a "leak was detected" and the second call the soap try didn't open, third call the door wouldn't shut. Asked repair why my energy efficient machine takes 2.5 hours on the 'normal wash' cycle and why it requires expensive drying agent to work; otherwise dishes come out soaking wet and still dirty. Did I mention you need to run your tap water on hot for exactly 8 or more minutes since it doesn't initially heat the water for you? How is that efficient?
