Impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit after extensive research, really happy with the performance so far.
Downsides: Takes a little time getting used to new layout of washer rack and how to load, but it can hold much more than previous unit (10 yr. old Kenmore). Other item is that small amounts of water remain on top of certain plastic ware, cups and tupperware where water can puddle. We use the "extra shine" mode, which adds about 20 min to the cycle, but worth getting the extra drying time. Because of new enviro regs, washers don't get as hot as they used to, so this will be the way things are going forward.
Positives: Control unit on top of the door is very easy to understand and use. Unit cleans really well, pots and pans come out extremely clean. Racks can hold a lot of dishes and cleans all really well, even if they're stacked close together. Love the 3rd rack on top for silverware, can set a lot of pieces close together and they all get clean. Top rack so efficient that we removed the silverware basket to increase bottom capacity, which is great. Extremely quiet, can barely hear the unit operate.
Overall, very, very happy with our purchase. Precise rating would be a 4.75 due to occasional water remaining on plastics. Otherwise, excellent product and worth the money.

Looks good, doesn't clean as well as expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a really old dishwasher and although it looks nice and I love the rack design, it doesn't clean any better than my old one. I was willing to overlook the lack of heat drying for a dishwasher that cleaned really well but this does not. Overall I'm disappointed, it was an expensive purchase for so so results.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great energy usage but inferior rack arrangement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pro: Extremely quiet and great energy usage. This product is also very nice looking and cleans as well as our last one. The utensil rack is wonderful.
Con: The other two racks are poorly designed. The bottom rack in particular is highly inefficient. There are large openings that disallow overflow from the cup area. We can't wash anywhere close to what we could in our old dishwasher. The cup rack is also a rather awkward layout making it difficult to make cups stay upright. We've already had one destroyed in the wash.

Third level is ingenious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The third level featured in this dishwasher is a real breakthrough in ingenuity. We immediately took our silverware holder out of the first level and haven't used it yet. We put silverware, spatulas, mixing spoons, jar lids, straws, etc. on the new level and don't have to worry about anything flying around. The dishwasher design also features a very tall first level. The only real downside is that extra tall glasses do not fit on the second level, but that is a small price to pay, and the bottom rack is designed so that tall plastic cups do not dislodge during dishwashing. The delay start is also a great feature, as is the light that shines on the ground when the dishwasher is on. We have a family of six, so a dishwasher you can really load effectively is of the utmost importance. High marks for Bosch on this model!

Wonderful Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher to replace a two-year old one of another manufacturer that leaked all over the floor of a newly-purchased home. This model was recommended as an upgrade and an excellent replacement. The salesperson was right! The washer is beautiful in its simplicity, and we have the assurance, based on its design, that it will not leak. It is quiet, and I love the little light that shines on the floor to indicate that it is running. We look forward to many years of use!

Awesome Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed myself. Great engineering! The rear can be leveled from the front. Water line supplied and connected right to my shutoff valve. Bought a connection kit and did not have to use it. Dishwasher very quiet and dishes came out sparkling clean!

Top in Class

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a close to retiring computer engineering manager, I am very particular about good quality appliances for my clients data centers as well as household appliances for our home. I find this product has many top notch engineering designs. It has the look and the feel of a quality appliance. The installation was relatively easy with clear instructions and quality parts. I was impressed the moment I started installing this machine. When I first used it I couldn't help notice how quiet it was. The only noise I heard was when the unit was discharging water into the drain. It is nice that there is an LED light that shines on the floor when it is running so you know. The door works and feels like an expensive sports car. The controls are easy to use and are very intuitive. The features of the 3 levels of baskets are well planned and equally engineered.
I can't wait to show this off to our friends and family this holiday season!
