Excellent, though pricey.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our 500 series dishwasher for about two weeks now, and it has proven to be a fantastic dishwasher. It's as quiet as advertised, which is a big plus for us as we live in a small house, and the kitchen is right in the middle of everything. Even better than being quiet, it cleans our dishes like no body's business. A feature that I particularly like is that the filter is very easy to take out and clean. In hindsight, I think we probably should have saved the $200 and bought the model without the extra silverware tray.

Very quiet but could handle wine glasses better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our Bosch dishwasher for about a month now and it is fantastically quiet. We love the way it handles 'normal stuff' - like plates, mugs and glasses, and the top tray for oversized utensils is great. However... the little flip down rack to theoretically hold silverware above short mugs or something is a joke, we're planning to remove it. It would be much better to have a stemware holder since you have to be creative about how to load stemware to keep it from tipping over as you pull out/push in the rack to load other things. It could also do a little better with large pots and pans. It cleans really well. This is the first time we've lived with hard water so we're using the recommended drying agent and the dishes come out clean and the glasses sparkling. Overall we're very happy with our purchase.

Very quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the original contractor-grade dishwasher in this house gave up the ghost after 10 years of hard service we replaced it with the SHP65T55UC. We especially appreciate the third rack on the top for flat pieces like spatulas and tupperware lids, or for extra silverware on those days when we've gone through a lot. It was also very easy to install.
The only feature we wish it had was a light that reminds us that the cycle has been run. The unit is so quiet that it's very easy to forget that we even ran it!

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just replaced an 18 year old Bosch SHU5316UC, which we enjoyed. However, after 3 years it began costing more in repairs than we paid for the machine. Switch panels, soap dispensers, etc. We like the quietness and so far the new unit is excellent. Hopefully it is not a mechanical lemon like the last one..

A QUALITY APPLIANCE!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is amazing how when the last dishwasher you had was over 5 years ago and when you get one, how much you appreciate it! We knew we purchased a top notch product when we saw how it was packed for shipping! This Bosch dishwasher was so easy to install. We had it in and running in no time! All my different dishes, pots, pans, etc. are accommodated easily with the many different racks, fold down and adjustable features, and spray arms. Everything is cleaned extremely well! My dishes sparkle! They really do! It is so quiet, I had to show my husband the red light so he would not open the door. It is that quiet! I am not good with gadgets, computers, that sort of thing. I was a little nervous about programming the first load. I had a small load for my first wash and setting the program was simple. What was I nervous about? Then I had a crowd for dinner, loaded it completely...changing to a program that was right for that full load, was easy too. What a pretty addition to my kitchen! The design is sleak, no handles to run into. The simple lines of this Bosch are beautiful. I am so happy I got the Bosch with the third drawer on the top! Wow, is that a great addition! It makes those hard to fit utensils, lay down and fit right in! Perfect for our household in everyway! I highly recommend the purchase of a Bosch...it is everything you could ask for in a dishwasher and includes some things you never thought to ask for in the first place! A quality appliance!

The best dishwasher!

It took us a bit to learn how to load it properly, but once we did we have been so satisfied with the way it cleans. It is designed very well; one can get a lot in it and because of the design, everything gets clean. I was surprised and delighted with the third shelf. Plus, it is SO quite, we forget that it is on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is extremely quiet, which is what I was shopping for. I don't particularly care for the third rack for silverware. I just find it extra work, but that's just a personal opinion, of course.
