Perform Great But...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, this unit does an exceptional job of cleaning our dishes and we especially like the top tray to organize our utensils.
However, the but with this review is the door handle. The plastic recessed handle broke once and was replaced under warranty. The replacement handle has broken as well and we are awaiting warranty service as the unit is less than a year old.
Having done a quick web search, we find our situation is not unique at all. Numerous folks have had the plastic handle replaced and many, have had multiple replacements.
You will love the features and performance of a similar product but with a handle.
Quite a shame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We shopped around for a few months, read reviews and decided to check out Bosch. If it wasn't for the red light that shines on my floor, I would not know it was running. I love the top rack for silverware. Cleans VERY WELL. Salesmen told us not to "pre-wash" our dishes, the machine needs to know assess how dirty the dishes are so it knows how hard to work to clean them. I was very happy to hear this since my husband has always had to "pre-wash" the dishes prior to putting them in the dishwasher. The only complaint I have is the angle of the tines. I wish they were straight up and angle. Seems more challenging to load some of the dishes I have. Two rows of tines flip down on the top and NONE on the bottom. I wish I would have paid closer attention to that when we purchased. We had a little trouble with installing. We had to have a plumber come to make some changes to our existing plumbing. I'm sorry I don't know what the difference from our existing dishwasher was to this one, I just know my husband was not pleased he had to have a plumber come in to make changes. ALso, the electrical is different. All in all though, I love this dishwasher!

SO QUIET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time we used our dishwasher, we had to double check and make sure it was running, it was SO quiet. Our dinnerware fits perfectly and I love having a top adjustable rack. This gets an A+ from me.

Beautiful & Funtional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Bosch 5 series built in dishwasher with the pocket handle after my last dishwasher croaked and flooded my kitchen and I can't praise it enough with regard to the quality of the finish, the ease of installation and the beautiful quiet that now accompanies doing the dishes.
As one who does all of his own installations and DIY projects throughout the house I have really come to appreciate appliances that come with all the necessary parts to hook them up. In this case the only item I needed to purchase was a strain relief for the power supply line and that was made perfectly clear on the outside of the actual unit so it wasn't a surprise requireing another trip after I got home with the unit.
I installed the unit in a standard 24" X 24" X 34" under counter cavity and it went in like a breeze. The front edge has a 1/4" gasket surrounding the unit so once in the space the gasket filled the small gap around the unit perfectly and gave a beautiful finished look with out requireing me to apply additional molding. Additionally getting the unit level in both dimensions was a breeze thanks to the elevating screw in the front and the leveling legs on the right and left of the appliance.
After getting the unit installed and hooked up to the supply and drain (all hoses and connections were provided) it took only a couple mins to verify that there were no leaks and boy when they describe how quiet this dishwasher is in the liturature they weren't exaggerating. If it weren't for the red light shinning on the kitchen floor (they call it the InfoLight) I wouldn't have known it was running.
Having run a couple sets of dirty dishes through the unit now I can tell you that in addition to being very quiet it is also a beast when it comes to cleaning. I am extremely pleased to say that this dishwasher has exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to a very long and very pleasurable experience with it.
Next up the fridge!!!

Third Rack, Quiet

I originally was interested in this brand because my friend told me about how quiet it was. I chose this particular model because of the third rack and it has easily become my favorite feature. I can't recommend this dishwasher enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased this dishwasher and love it! The dishes are exceptionally clean, even in the upper third rack (which is great for those odd utensils and little caps that get thrown around in other dishwashers). I am pleased with the sanitizing feature and use that when washing anything that has touched raw meat. It is whisper quiet, especially compared to our former 20-year-old dishwasher. If it wasn't for the red light that shines onto the floor we wouldn't know that it was running. The only downside at this point is the rack configuration on the bottom, but not enough to reduce my rating. Thank you for making such a great product!
