QUIET!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great! Quietest dishwasher I've ever owned. Many times I do need to look for the red light to indicate that it's actually running. Only improvement I would recommend is the spacing of tines on bottom rack, some of them are too closely spaced, making it difficult to load pots, pans and large bowls. (They just sit on top.) Great for dinner parties with lots of plates.

We brought home the new dish washer that has three sheflves, and absolutly think this is a awsome machine. The dishes are very clean and dry, and no streakes on the glasses. The top shelf is easy to access and has a nice design. Great job Bosch team, you've done it again and created another outstanding product. Thank you much!

Doesn't dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to match the Bosch range and microwave that we bought to have installed in a new house we had built. The range and microwave work great. The ONLY good thing about this dishwasher is the low noise level. We have a very open kitchen/family room area and the noise level on this is so low that you hardly notice it is on.
On the other hand, everything comes out dripping wet with this dishwasher. We have never had this experience with any other dishwasher we have owned. We followed the directions, always use the "Sanitize" cycle, which is supposed to help it dry, and even turned on "Intensive Drying" as described in the manual. Everything still comes out wet, especially plastics.
The other issue we have with it is the racks. The top rack is OK, but the tines on the bottom rack are poorly designed. Most of them are too close together so large dishes, like baking pans, can't be loaded vertically. As a result, they have to be put in horizontally, taking up most of the bottom rack, or just washed by hand. Sure some of them can be flattened out, but that still means that it takes up a large portion of the rack. If we were considering buying another dishwasher, it would NOT be a Bosch, even though we love the low noise. We would be willing to put up with a little loader dishwasher to actually have it dry and be able to be loaded efficiently.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a plumber and have installed thousand of dishwashers, I bought my first Bosch because the quality it was built . This was the easiest dishwasher I ever installed, the water line was already connected and the electric source has a plug in so no more cutting your fingers reaching under the unit to make the connections . Once it was up and running It was so quiet that I had to keep opening the door to see if it was working. The best dishwasher I ever bought or installed.
