Overall great product with a few drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher based on consumer reports and personal recommendations. The key feature I like is that which senses water in places where it might be leaking and shuts off the machine. After two prevous machines leaking, this gives me a little more peace of mind. We like the convenience of the very top rack for flatware, as well as the fact that the sprayer on the top does not have a rotary spinner that could get hung up on the flatware. One drawback I find is the way the bottom rack has the prongs at an angle. I know this is a design feature someone thought long and hard about, but it makes it very difficult to place a variety of items on the bottom rack, such as water bottles or mason jars, that would be better off sitting straight up and down. Also, it is overall smaller inside than my previous washer, and I don't like being forced into having to use a rinse agent in order to get the dishes all the way dry.

So quiet!

We are very pleased with our new Bosch dishwasher. It just takes some getting used to. The racks are much different than our old dishwasher, so we have to rethink our loading techniques. We love the feature of the light on while washing...otherwise you can't hear it!

Love my new Bosch Dishwasher

I purchased my Bosch after my DW of 4 years had major problems, leaking, motor died, was looking for a high end DW so went on line & read the Bosch reviews & I knew that this was the one for me.
Lots of loading options, much larger capacity & a third utensils rack, cleans spotless every time.
It is so quiet until I hardly know that it is on.
