Cleanest-Quietest Ever

Bought this dishwasher about one month ago and we are amazed at how clean our dishes are with hardly any noise. We don't hear it running but the little red light on the floor lets us know it's doing its job. Everything we've loaded in comes out sparkling clean and sanitized with no problems. We love this Bosch appliance, it may be our first Bosch but it certainly won't be our last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great dishwasher.

Who would believe it? I actually got excellent advice from my brother-in-law; he recommended this machine. After chatting with him & his spouse, and reading the various reviews, this model appeared to be the best for the money.
We are very happy with it. Extremely quiet: the first time I turned it on I thought it wasn't working because it wasn't making the usual d/w whooshing sounds - then I saw the light. Really.
The dishes get sparkly clean & squeaky to the touch.
I love the flatware rack. The model we saw in the store didn't have the rack, & I was too cheap to pay the several hundred dollars to get it. But when installed, there it was. My spouse says that lining up the knives, forks & spoons appeals to OCD tendencies. Well, it does.
Why not Five Stars? This d/w does not like stemware. Sure it will hold a few, but they rattle around or tip over. My solution is to change over to stemless wine glasses which fit rather nicely. Also, water still collects in the tops of coffee mugs, but no big deal.
Lastly, when looking at models, we were conscious of child-proofing the kitchen (about to have 1st grandchild). Some models have a stick-out handle which a child could pull down. This d/w has a recessed pull that appears to be as safe as it gets.
So, I give this 4.5 Stars.

Really impressive cleaning ability

I'd recommend this dishwasher to everyone looking for one. It's quieter than my previous dishwasher but you can still hear it running. What really is impressive is the cleaning ability and results. I can't say enough good things about this dishwasher and there are enough features that this will meet everyone's needs. Also, the third rack is the most amazing feature/improvement I've ever experienced in dishwasher technologies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

LED 'on' light great feature

Used for one week after replacing prior Bosch. Quieter than last Bosch which was itself quiet. This was a major concern because of an open kitchen area. The interior seems roomier and we like the top 3rd rack. The only downside was figuring out how to 'stack' the dishes inside. Apparently I have been doing it wrong for years according to the Bosch video. It is important to read/look at this stuff up front! Would have liked a built-in water softener due to hard, hard water here, but it wasn't available. (but should be for California)
