Amazingly quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We owned our first Bosch for 25 years and would consider no other brand! When it was finally time for replacement we replaced it a few weeks ago with a new Bosch! It is amazing! Great features, excellent workmanship, and so quiet we can't tell it's running! It does an outstanding job cleaning our dishes and utensils!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just Amazing!

From pots and pans to delicate glassware, everything comes out perfectly clean. If it wasn't for the light projected on the floor to let me know its on, i'd never know it was running. Great product!

Truly quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher a couple of months ago and are enjoying the quiet evenings not beginning with crashing water and plates banging. Our glasses are again clean, with no film on the bottom. Silverware is clean, since spread out.
My only complaint is that (perhaps due to the extra shelf) there is not as much room for pots, so we end up washing them by hand.

great quiet dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher in December 2015 and we have been really happy with it's style, performance and how quiet it is. BUT a few weeks ago, (~6 months old) we noticed that the plastic piece on the recessed handle has cracked and part has broken off. I'm sure it will be replaced but that is a drawback and keeps me from giving this great machine 5 stars.

Quiet and cleans well. Awkward racks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for about 8 months now. It's very quiet and cleans the dishes very well. We love the third rack. But I'm very surprised at some design decisions that don't seem to make a lot of sense. First, the bottom rack is set up to wash way more plates than we would ever put in there, and doesn't work well with any other types of dishes. When we need to put bowls or snapwear on the bottom rack (which we have to do pretty much all the time), it wastes a ton of space. Second, if you ever have to open the dishwasher while it's running, it sprays you in the face. Finally, a regular dish washer cycle is over two hours.
It's a great dishwasher if you're into silence, but if I had paid more attention to the awkward racks when I was dishwasher shopping, we would have gone with another model.

Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been less than one month since install. Everything is perfect. It holds much more than our previous Kenmore dishwasher. It seems to work very well at the cleaning aspect. It is as quiet as our refrigerator. At first we thought it a negative that it did not have a time delay start. Now though since it is so quiet that doesn't seem to matter. We do wish though there was a way to set it without the heat dry. It doesn't really seem to get the dishes more dry than simply letting them sit and dry naturally. This seems a waste of energy.

Good and Great with Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher a year ago after extensive research. It's relatively quiet and I love the 3rd rack at the top for odd shape and larger utensils. I'd like to recommend a process improvement. The top rack has tines that you can fold down to accommodate odd shape and larger dishes/containers. However, I wash the majority of my pots and pans by hand because the lower rack doesn't have tines that fold down. I don't understand why Bosch wouldn't offer this feature on both the upper and lower rack. I'm happy with the cleaning results but haven't use on tough grease and stains typically found in pots and pans since I wash these by hand. As far as the drying, I must slightly open the dryer door for the dishes to dry. This is fine in the Winter for adding humidity into my living space but don't like doing this in the summer so it takes a day or two for the dishes to dry unless I dry by hand which I'm OK with. This is the third dishwasher that I've owned and it is far the best. Thank you for allowing me to provide feedback.

Great except for the stinking smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 500 series pocket handle dishwasher from Friedmans Appliances in Pleasant Hill, CA. The dishwasher itself is great for cleaning especially if you use the jet rinse. You can't hear it at all. Fortunately, there is the light indicator to let you know when you are done. However, I would not buy this Bosch dishwasher again. The stinky smell that comes out of it is unbearable. You open it and the sewer smell hits you hard. The trouble shooting says to make sure to use the Jet rinse and if you have problems with odor to use some white vinegar to sanitize it. The white vinegar works for half a day and then, bang, back to Stink Town. I would have to do the sanitizing every day. I hate this dishwasher because of that and I will never buy a Bosch again. I wish I could return it for one that does not smell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
