Not compatible

TV is fine but the Smart features are disappointing. We wanted to live stream from Facebook and the TV is not compatible. We needed flash player and customer service said the TV is not compatible. I returned the TV the next day. Will not buy a Samsung.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only Issue

The only issue I have, is that I cannot connect my components (ie DVD player or VCR; I know they're ancient) and use the SmartHub without disconnecting them.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: Not high def, the lighting doesn't seem to give natural color
I would recommend this to a friend!

I Thought a Smart TV Would be Better!

I probably haven't had this product long enough to review it, but so far what I had hoped for did not materialize. The picture is good, but I find the sound to be frustrating. Every time I change a channel I have to readjust the sound. And when I use my DVD player, I have to crank the sound way up in order to hear it. And the sound is not as clear a I would expect it to be. It does not support Pureflix which I was hoping for. And from other reviews, Netflix is questionable. (You may have to buy Roku and disable the security feature). But it does work with my TV Guardian for which I am happy about. And I finally was able to use the keypad (no, I don't have a Smart Phone or a laptop) and find a website, but it certainly wouldn't play all of the features on the website. And it took forever to even open it. So I gave up on that feature. So I am left with a Smart TV which is just a TV but bigger and brighter than my old analog TV that died, which is why I bought a Smart TV. No doubt I am not qualified to write a review on this TV, but as a beginner, this is what I have encountered.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor quality sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Working perfectly with your assistance on set-up. Would like to see volume control continue adjusting as long as button is held down. Currently must push each time to change by one number.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, see comments, volume not loud enough

Easy set up and great picture

This is our first digital TV. Yes we have finally moved on from the analog TV with a converter box age. The TV was very easy to set up. Within an hour of getting home from the store we were watching it. The picture is sharp and bright. Really like the feature of viewing the photos on this TV. This was very easy to do and the pictures taken at National Parks look great on this TV. Control of the TV through the remote is easy and fairly intuitive. It was easy to set up the TV to use a keyboard or mouse. (See instructions in the e-Manual.) The keyboard or mouse is helpful for using the built in browser. Because we are using an antenna, we would have liked, however, the option to scan for new channels without deleting the existing channels.
Pros: Bright display, easy use with computer
I would recommend this to a friend!

TV was easy to set up and using a mouse made it even easier, all plug in on the rear were very accessible.
Pros: Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
