I had to buy a new TV because my 1.5 year old Sharp 32" LED TV motherboard blew in constant 70 degree temperatures and less than 2 hours of watch time per week. Sharp customer service said it had to operate under constant temperatures and no more than 4 hours of watch time in one sitting. Isn't it a TV that's supposed to be watched?
In any event, so far, I am thoroughly impressed with this Samsung 40 inch LED Smart TV. Variety of options for Sound, Picture, and Resolution even with the most basic package. It even has a great picture with direct cable hook up and no HD box. The Smart functions are also fun. Looking to learn more about those in the near future.

the features of this tv are wonderful. it's easy to navigate through and the picture and sound are totally awesome. I really like the smart hub. I am able to use the browser to surf the internet and download apps that I really enjoy. I am amazed that all these features are in one unit, I don't have to leave the comfort of my sofa to go to the computer or to use the other features. the remote is easy to use and clearly defined so i'm not pushing wrong buttons. I have recommended this model to my family and coworkers . I enjoy tle Samsung milk music app. it lets me hear all of my favorite genres of music and I can switch stations very easily. there is no interruption and gives me hours of listening pleasure. I now have all of my electronic gadgets rolled up into one smart tv. I am very pleased with this product. the e-manual is very helpful so I don't need to keep the written manual that was provided with the tv for future navigation. I can just push the button at anytime to review how to use the smart features. the remote management is a very nice feature that allows me access to a technical support team whenever I need assistance. I really enjoy the light weight of the unit. I like to be outside so I can pick up my tv and move it outside with me with no difficulty or fear of dropping it because it is very light.

The picture is unbelievably clear and true to size. The sound quality is as close to stereo surround as possible without additional amps.

I was able to set the television up myself. I did have one little problem but called the Samsung service and it was an easy fix over the phone. I had a Samsung television before and had good service from it.
