Good portable Scanner

This is a great portable scanner. It allows me to easily carry and use via usb to scan as long as I have power. It has Wi-Fi capability. I use it more via usb due to the unavailability of Wi-Fi. I did not give it a 4-5 star because I could not connect it to my "Neat" programing. Epson needs to work with the Neat company to get the Epson drivers as part of the "Neat" program. Neat has stopped supporting their scanners. It would be great if Epson could replace this void. Neat is focusing on programing only.

l bought this today so that I could scan business cards directly into my MS Outlook and Salesforce.com
This is an excellent scanner above the rest, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new scanner to at least look at this Epson DS-40 it really gets the work done!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needs more battery life

Good scanner but you go threw batteries like there's no tomorrow. The batteries should have been rechargeable and it should have an dc adapter, car charger and actually cord.

This is terrible!! I can't figure out how to use this thing!! I was able to download it into my computer, but after that, I could not understand the instructions! An item as expensive as this should be more user friendly on it's instructions!!!

wifi hookup

I bought this and have tried multiple times to get it to hook up to wifi and it wont...ready to throw away and buy a new type.
