I bought this scanner 01/18 to replace a lovely portable cabled (corded) scanner. I don't mind a wifi scanner, but this one permits only ONE wifi network. So you can't go from your main place (let's say home) to cottage or hotel or airport and have it work -- this isn't like an iPhone that sets up and then detects networks. Moreover, the AP mode simply doesn't work. I thought I'd set it up to use at cottage, hotel, airport. Nope; a talented IT person and I tried for an hour. No luck. Lastly, the included cable is just for power, not for scanning. This is clear enough if you read details in manual, but it's a disappointment, and should be made crystal clear. In sum, what a lousy purchase. What limited capabilities (for location) compared to my prior cabled scanner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have a home based business and this machine works fine for me. I do have trouble sometimes with jams when trying to scan long receipts; tried changing the paper size to see if it will then scan the entire receipt. It could also be a little faster, but overall it works fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had to reinstall the software and redo set up 3x, which is each time I have tried to use it. works for a while then go to use it again and more issues arise. NOT HAPPY

This product worked great for about 6-months... now it does not connect or work with my IPhone anymore... they replaced the first one and the second one still does not work at all....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
