I bought this EPSON SCANNER DS-40 some weeks ago the scan is ok but I did not find nowhere HOW TO DECIDE WHERE I WILL BE ABLE TO SEE EASILY THE SCANS IN A FOLDER IN DESKTOP OR DOCUMENTS

Purchased the unit online and everything went without a hitch. Received the unit quickly and it installed easily. Then the included software did better than I ever expected. Epson will be on top of the list for considering future office products

Mediocre - good for what it is but with some shortcomings

I've owned it for years, like it, frustratingly though I have to reinstall the driver package for it about once every few months
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Scanner when it works

We bought this scanner a couple of years ago and have had many, many issues with it connecting (and staying connected) to my Mac. Trying to fix it everytime is extremely confusing and complicated. I’ve had to completely stop connecting it to wi-fi and have had to go to using the cable (I just connected it to the cable)….hopefully it will stop the numerous issues and start working reliably. Wish me luck!

Excellnt Portable Device and PDF Editing Software Bundle

The DS-40 may be configured to wirelessly scan on
Wi-Fi networks*, or used as a "fixed asset" at your office desk.** This little "work horse" is a must have for mobile business services (like my accounting practice) which visits customers in their homes, public meeting places (coffee shops, etc.) or in the office at your desk. The editing software that comes with the DS-40 is wonderful for making notes*** or commenting directly on the PDF document that you created by scanning with the DS-40. Overall, the value of the device by far exceeds it's very modest price. Compared to any flat bed scanner or catch and copy type fax machines, this portable scanner is a perfect compromise between price, value and quality output. I rated the Epson DS-40 5 stars and I further recommend the Epson DS-40 as your first choice in scanner technology. Whether you use the device and bundled software at your desk, or "on the fly" in your mobile services business, you will find that the Epson DS-40 will quickly become one of your "go to" tools for managing (or expanding) your current business needs.
