Didn't work for very long

My device stopped scanning after only one month of light use. I'm not sure why.

definitely a quality product except the software application has some flaws. When you select the option to name each page, it doesn't let you do that

Already problems setting up

I bought my Epson Workforce DS-40 color portable scanner yesterday and I'm having problems setting up. I have Windows 10 and I thought it would be easy to update. All around it's taking me longer then what I anticipated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I see clients in their homes occasionally and didn't want to have to take documents back to the office. This lets me scan to the firms secure website and cut down on the number of trips

Bought this scanner to ease the burden of scanning documentation for my incomes taxes. Very convenient, as I do not have to lift the flatbed cover on my all in one.
But I have two gripes:
1) When I installed the software for the DS-40, somehow the scanner in the all in one is locked out & no longer available.
2) It will only scan to PDF. At times I need a JPG scan, but with the all in one locked out, that is no longer an option.

Installation Is a Nightmare

Installation took more than an hour an I have been in IT for over 30 years!
