Not as good as old KitchenAid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a KitchenAid for years and it was great! It suddenly quit working and would have cost too much to fix, so I invested in a new one. I chose the 5 Quart to better accommodate larger recipes. Even with single recipes it seems to groan and struggle to mix and has a lot of vibration. My old 3 Quart never did that. Because I'm not an everyday baker, I'll continue to use the Artisan mixer, but would not advise anyone to invest in one. Just as in major appliances these days, the old stuff is much more dependable and the new machines are not being made in the same high quality. It's sad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the featured attachments, which I got the pasta maker with the six different options. Loving the machine so far!!

Powerful and beautiful
