But it is bittersweet as the one I had was given to me by my brother as a Christmas present 15 years ago.. It was hard for me to let that one go but I love my new one...and it came with a free attachment and a extra beater. Looking forward to many happy years together..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock mechanism does not engage when the mixer is in the lifted position, so I must be extremely cautious that I don't bump it and cause it to fall. It seems to "miss" the opening to lock, thus scratching the body of the mixer. As well, I didn't expect to have to scrape the sides as often as I've done, but this is a minor inconvenience. It is nice to be able to do other chores, however, while the stand mixer does the work I used to do with my hand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new stand mixer, I previously had the lift up bowl model and didn't like the wideness of the bowl especially for whipping..........this model is super and I use it a lot

Wrong color

I gave it 3 stars due to the fact they sent me the wrong color I ordered crystal blue and they sent me red which clashes with my kitchen and I dont like the color red but I guess I'll have to get use to the color but overall i do like it cant wait to use it i just moved into my new house so it fits perfect on my counter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new 5 quart mixer. I was using a 4.5 quart and can't believe the difference such a small amount makes. So much room and less flour spilling out! And I can give my 4.5 quart to my granddaughter.
