Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy I bought this mixer. I was reluctant about getting a mixer that needed to sit on the counter, but I have done a 180 on that. I use it almost every week, partly because it IS on the counter. So far I've done cake, cookies, bread dough, mashed potatoes and shredded chicken. All of these functions have worked very well - I especially love the shredding of chicken. This was money well spent.
On the negative side, the splash shield doesn't seem to fit properly. I have to jiggle it into position and it doesn't stay put very well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First week home and it got a workout one would expect in a large restaurant. This Artisan proved to be more that we dreamed for. Can not think of anything negative to say.

I decided I wanted a smaller one, easier for me to lift. This mixer is perfect. I recommend a KitchenAid mixer to everyone who bakes, it is a pleasure to use and makes cooking fun.
