[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having an Oster Mixer and accessories for 38 years it was time to buy a new mixer. I chose KitchenAid because of all the reviews. I ordered the stainless steel Artisan series to match the rest of my appliances. I used it to make mashed potatoes and it works great! Looking forward to using it for all my recipes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't go wrong with the time-tested KitchenAid stand mixer! I've purchased the Artisan, which is not the base model but not the highest/best model available either, and it does fantastically. It can get rocking and rolling up top JUST the tiniest bit with a very heavy bread dough, but this, I feel, is to be expected with the toughest mixes. Otherwise, it does everything wonderfully. Definitely get the attachment that scrapes the side of the bowl, it helps to incorporate everything fully.
I would recommend this to a friend!
