Overall looks good but what is with the whisk?!

I decided to treat myself and buy this expensive stand mixer. The mixer arrived a few days ago and looks gorgeous. Most of the parts are solid and seem good quality. But I’m disappointed to see the whisk - the product description said the bowl and attachments are dishwasher safe but there’s a note on the whisk to handwash only. Umm, what? Even if I am ok with that, right out of the box the whisk looks cheap and feels dirty…I don’t mean dusty like the material feels wrong. I would not feel comfortable putting that in my food even after hand washing, especially after seeing all the other complaints about the whisk. Disappointing for such an expensive item. No way to email customer support either.

Heirloom memories

The white KitchenAid was given to me by my mother over 30 years ago. She did a lot of baking and even made wedding cakes. She had it for about 15 years before giving it to me. So, after 45+ years of service it died. I repaired the old one a few times, but now it is beyond repair. So, I replaced it with this new one. It is amazing how much they haven't changed... And that's a good thing. It feels odd bc this one has no history. ❤️🤷🏼♂️❤️ So, I bake weekly and will build new memories.

Not strong enough for dough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this especially for bread dough and other patries, it’s not as strong as I thought. It keeps moving when kneeding and I have to hold it, which I didn’t want to do since i thought self stand means i can go and do other things.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

pretty color and love flip up

It gets pretty hot when I make noodles with attachment. The bowl gets stuck so need help to remove it

Won't lock

I have been very frustrated since I took it out of the box. The lock won't work. At first, I literally could not pull the knob forward. Then I watched videos to try and adjust it. Nothing has worked. I can't lock my brand-new mixer after weeks of fussing with it.
