[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this as a recent Birthday present and love it. I have always wanted one but never got around to getting one. I love all the different attachments and feature they give instead of having to buy several different machines.

The stand mixer is far superior to my hand mixer--I often didn't bother to use it on things like cookies. Now, both my son and I enjoy baking with the KitchenAid stand mixer. It is handsome as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received our mixer as a house warming gift and hadn't really had a chance to use it in the short time that we were living at our new home. On Thanksgiving day I decided to mix up a double batch of banana bread, one for each side of the family. As I was mashing up the bananas and prepping another bowl with flower I noticed that all the mixing bowls in the house would be too small for this double batch. I panicked, a little, because I didn't want to have to mix up the two batches separately since half of one portion was already mixed and about 2 pints of banana mixture was still in the bowl. I looked around the kitchen to see what other options I'd have to mix this together in a lage enough bowl. There it was. On the counter, next to the fridge, the brand new mixer stood idlely, waiting to be used. The 5qt. Mixing bowl was barely large enough for me to dump the banana bread mixture into. A perfect fit. I fitted it with the batter attachment and locked it down. After running it for about a minute on the lowest setting, listening to slow whirring, I realized that this little guy is going to a perfect companion for my cooking and backing needs down the road.
