[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my KitchenAid mixer of thirty plus years finally gave up the ghost, I resolved to purchase a new upgraded machine to replace it. My new Artisan series mixer was the perfect upgrade and replacement! I truly depend on this appliance for so many cooking and baking tasks that not having a KitchenAid mixer in the house did not work! Loving it 😍

Presently have one at least 40 years old but sometimes it's nice to get new.appreciate that old add on like grain mill etc.fit the new mixer. Does seem like it takes less mixing time. The shield was worthless fourty years ago and still is.

Start it slowly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a big professional mixer before so I’ve downsized with this mixer. First time I used it to make mashed potatoes, I clicked it on and the potatoes went flying out of the bowl. The next time I tried it, I was making a cake. I added the box mix, eggs, oil and water then I turned the mixer on and again wet ingredients went flying out all over the place! Ugh! I consider myself a seasoned cook/baker and I am pretty neat and clean while working in kitchen so these first two times didn’t impress me much. I need to learn to just put it on the first speed, instead of just pushing the lever. I do wish the bowl was bigger but I’d seen that kitchenaid pro mixer didn’t have as good of reviews at the artisan one.

Don’t waste your money!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer mainly for Christmas time. I do a lot of baking. I had such high hopes for this mixer and couldn’t wait to get it as I’ve never had a stand mixer. I am so very disappointed! This thing wobbles and shakes while mixing on low! The pour guard is useless it doesn’t stay on the bowl. I have spent more time cleaning up the mess this thing makes than I have spent baking! I tried to call Kitchenaid and after 49 minutes on hold I gave up. I don’t know if all stand mixers are like this but I’m going back to my old fashioned beater!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
