Not loving it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have heard people talk about their kitchen aid mixers and how they just love it. So I thought maybe I will get one and see why they love it so much. I'm not in love with it! It seems that when I make bread I always have flour on the bottom of my bowl and when kneading the bread, the machine starts to bounce. I'll keep it, but glad I kept my old sunbeam.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What a great machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was replacing a faithful large-capacity mixer. The children are grown so I chose the smaller-capacity bowl and the lift arm. Boy, do I love the lift arm!
I am more than satisfied, overall. My only observation would be it “bounces” if the dough is heavy. (I am in a bread-making phase.) the mixer doesn’t move, the front lifts briefly and thumps down. I suppose I will reach a point when I feel comfortable leaving it, but it is new and so I rest my arm on it and try to match the thumps to the rhythm of the music being played by Alexa. (I am an old, retired person, and easily amused.) i
