Gears not working

The motor is working, however the gears no longer work. I wanted to get it repaired but it would cost almost as much to send it to KitchenAid and have it repaired as to buy a new one. No repair available on the West coast?????

Just OK machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids bought me this new Kitchen Aid that is silver in color. I've had my old one for many, many years. I was happy with the old Kitchen Aid and this one does not work as well as my old mixer. It bounces when I mix even if it doesn't have difficult ingredients like chips/nuts/raisins, etc. Also the beater doesn't get everything in the bottom of the bowl even after making several adjustments. My old flat blade does not go easily in this new mixer. I want my old mixer back. They bought me this new one just for the new color that matches my new kitchen.

Great product and should be the only Mixer!

We both love these units, so dependable, so many attachments, so little time! I recently purchased the meat grinder and can't wait to use it! KitchenAid, the "kleenex" of mixers!

I didn't know if I'd use it enough to justify the price but it is a worthwhile extravagant purchase. I really think the workmanship is high quality. Easy to use, so beautiful. It comes in more colors than a box of crayons so everyone can choose they're favorite!

Amazing stand mixer

Made pizza dough without having to knead at all. Looking forward to all the creative things I will be able to easily make now!
