This is hands down my favorite Studio Ghibli movie (okay so technically it was before they were officially Studio Ghibli) - it stands apart from the rest as having more violence in it so be careful with sharing it with younger viewers.

A Miyazaki classic with big improvements

This and other Studio Ghibli animated movies were originally released by Disney some years ago. While those releases were pretty good, these new releases by Shout! Factory/G-Kids are even better.

Both the video and audio have been improved, and there are more extras.

A great movie, as all Miyazaki movies are. This is one of his early features based on the manga he created, and was the start of Studio Ghibli.

It's difficult to find a movie I have not enjoyed by Studio Ghibli, but Nausica is one of my favorites. The story-telling and animation are (as always) consistently great. While I generally prefer the fantasy-themed movies, the SciFi aspect was equally enjoyable. Will definitely watch again and again.
