only one really annoying feature...

this phone is great. sleek, lightweight, fast...everything you want in a smart phone. aside from the lack of expandable memory (who needs more than 32GB anyway though?), the one thing it loses points for is the shutter sound for the camera. it can't be disabled. or even made quieter. and it's intensely irritating. PLEASE fix this in the next system update.

Eye candy: 4.7 inch LCD IPS screen.
The colors look vibrant and crisp. It's a bliss to read emails, surf, and many more. Competing popular devices look lame when compared to this screen.
It's powered with snapdragon s4 pro quad core - best mobile processor in the industry, and this is the only device that carries it today.
Can't wait for Jelly Bean upgrade.

Love the phone. Hopefully LG will unlock the bootloader though for people who like to customize their phones and whatnot and remove at&t bloatware etc. Also hope they upgrade to jellybean as promised by the end of the year.

This is the best phone I've ever had. It was very easy to learn to use. I like the length the battery stays charged....I LOVE the size!

I didn't like the stock messaging app, so i purchased ChompSMS but that app wasn't configured to the Optimus G and it couldn't use the quick compose function
The autocorrect is not very good. It didn't change "Rjght" to "right" even though the words are one letter different and that letter is next to the correct one.
I couldn't get the stock texting app to be silent and the 3rd party app to notify me. Either both would or neither would.
Whenever I google a problem like "How do I put the battery percentage in the status bar of my Optimus G" it is very hard to find websites discussing my phone specifically.
Bottom line: It's an impressive first foray into the iPhone fighters market, but I would recommend waiting to see how the market responds. If sales continue to lag, aftermarket options will remain limited. But I really hope it does well because the market could use another competitor. I have high hopes for a second generation of this phone.

This phone was very impressive and I was glad I came across it. It is fast, sleek, reliable, good for customization, great camera, great picture, great clarity and is update to date with most of the phones out in 2014. A very good choice!

Everything worked as advertised. Dropped it one too many times, but not a scratch. Gorrila glass indeed!
Hoping there's a firmware for Kitkat.
If there's one thing that needs improvement, then i would like that the power button be more subdued, not protruding.
