Great features, very basic problems

While I was very excited to receive my Optimus G, I quickly encountered a few very basic problems. The camera shutter sound does not turn off or even down. It's not an option at all and I've had a technician look into it and say it's the first time he's ever seen this. Annoying to have the loud "click" every time I take a pic. Also, the ringer volume doesn't adjust. It's either full volume or vibrate, no in between. Annoying getting loud text after text.
Pros: Features/Settings, Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A powerful and sleek slab of technology

I've had the LG Optimus G for around 3 weeks and I am extremely impressed. The phone is incredibly quick, loads everything buttery smooth, and the display is big, bright and crisp. The phone has an excellent in-hand feel and feels like a solid slab. The appearance of the phone is extremely stylish with the completely flat glass back and squared off corners. The only drawback to this design is the glass back. The glass is too slick, allowing the phone to slide of surfaces with even the slightest incline. The back glass is also very fragile, Mine developed a small crack from a <2ft drop onto hardwood floor. Overall, the phone is excellent although I wish LG would have designed a little stronger back panel.

Nice phone in any aspect.. Fast, slim, good display, phone and android..
Since I've upgraded android version Jeally Bean, it's better than before. first of all battery life extended. Before I used to use 2 days on 1 full charge. (I'm not a heavy user.) now I think I can use 3-4days!!

went in looking at note 2, after comparing and listening to advise of salesperson decided on this one. love it. it blows the note away and has most of the features the galaxy s4 has. my son got the s4 now wishes he had gotten this one

Great Smart Phone

This is the first smart phone I've used and all I can say is wow. It is fast, easy to use and I was able to upgrade to the latest Android OS. It is really fast with the quad core processor and HD graphics. Don't use my PC much now that I have this. With this who needs a iphone. Go out and pick one up you'll be glad you did.

This phone is loaded with features. This was my first smartphone and learning to use has been fairly easy.

Have had this phone for 2 months, switched over from a galaxy s2, hated that phone & this one is great! Saw a review that a person didn't like the camera, but it has 13 mp, iphone camera is not better than this one. I love it! Great slick look and it's light.
