We bought this coffee maker about 2 months ago. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. It brews a great cup of coffe and does it reasonably quickly. It is not a fancy modle no timer or anyting like that, but then again all we needed was a coffee maker that brews coffee. This does just that. I would definetly recomend this to anyone.
What's great about it: Basket is removeable easily for ease in cleaning
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

No automatic turn off

I bought the entire coffee maker because to replace just the carafe was just $3.00 less. I didn't like this coffee maker because it stayed on until I pushed the off button. Sometimes I'd forget all day to find the burnt coffee on the bottom and still heating. I kept the new carafe and used my former coffee maker, same brand but it's got an automatic turn off and a program to set.
What's great about it: does not cost much
What's not so great: does not turn off automatically
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All I want my coffee pot to do is make coffee. I don't need another clock. I enjoy making it every morning so don't need a preset timer. I don't want it to grind or make espresso. I just want it to make coffee. It makes coffee - good coffee, every morning and that's that! This is a good basic coffee pot that does exactly that!

Sure, it does not have a timer. However, it is basic and that is what I wanted. Gives me a great cup of coffee every morning. GREAT VALUE!

Coffee maker is ok. Could make a hotter coffee and has a automatic shut off. It is a temporary coffee maker.
What's great about it: You don't have to buy your coffee in a store.
What's not so great: does not make a real HOT coffee and after a certain time the coffee taste bad. And is not the quality of the coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't have advertised feature

We were looking for a simple coffee maker, but it had to include an automatic shutoff. The description on the Best Buy website for the unit indicated that it had this feature, but when we got it home and examined the 'official' instructions, it did not have the auto shutoff. We returned it - Best Buy does have a no-hassle returns policy, so that part was good. We had to find another brand of coffee maker to fill our need.
What's great about it: Low cost
What's not so great: Didn't have auto shutoff
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this coffee maker. It has a nice, sleek design. It's very easy to use. It doesn't drip on the hot plate like my old one did.

Bought this because the Black & Decker I purchased three months ago broke (terrible product). My husband does not like fancy gadgets, and wanted a coffeemaker with a simple on/off switch. That is this model! It makes great coffee and we are very pleased. Wish it came in white or offwhite, tho.
What's great about it: Makes good coffee
What's not so great: Wish it came in white or offwhite.
