I have had a "Mr Coffee" coffee maker for 15 years. I bought a new one because the old one no longer heated sufficiently. I love this new one already. It heats very well and also is easy to clean. The old one was a 10 cup. This one is a 12 cup which my wife and I appreciate. I don't know of anyone who has a "Mr Coffee" who would not recommend one to a friend.

I have been through several coffee makers in the last 3 years. I decided that I would go with a product that has been making drip brewers as long as I can recall. This model is just the simple on-off switch as I think that the automatic off was what doomed the others that I have purchased.
