I'm a coffee lover and I have to have my coffee in the morning but I work 2 jobs don't have time to run around looking for stuff . Mr Coffee is a great brand name they are durable and i know i'll have this coffee pot for a long time and i received it in just a few days. it was a great price for this brand and i took it out of the box, cleaned it like the instructions said and started using it. Never missed a day of my coffee.

This is an entry level coffee maker and it does just that. The cord is very short and water tends to condense under basket which in turn needs to be wiped out as it runs down onto the base warming plate. Bottom line - it makes coffee but is kind of a pain to use.

I've owned similar inexpensive Mr. Coffee models before, and they've always made good coffee and are easy to use and clean.
When my previous Mr. Coffee stopped working after a few years (the first time that's happened), I decided to get another Mr. Coffee to replace it. This one is the same as the one I had before, except that my previous one had a clock and could be programmed to brew at another time -- this one just has an on/off switch. I never used the delayed brew feature, and the clock was just something I'd have to reset after a power blip or DST change, so having just the on/off switch is perfect. In addition, the old one had separate buttons to turn the unit on and off, and you could accidentally turn it on if you bumped it -- the single toggle switch on this unit eliminates this problem.
If you just want to make coffee and don't need the bells and whistles, you can't go wrong with this model.
What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to clean
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: There is a window in the side that has a gage so you can use your sink spray gun or brita pitcher to fill the water.
What's not so great: No capability to set up brewing in advance with a timer.
