Over the last 20 years I have had coffee makers that cost close to $100. But, I always go back to Mr. coffee. Simple is sometimes the best ,

OK for a month, BUT

When we first got it, it worked great. I didn't need all the bells and whistles, BUT haven't even had this a month and it acts like it can't get any water. Sounds like it's at the end of the brewing, and just sputters water all the way thru. Takes forever to get a cup of coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This coffee maker does the job without all the bells and whistles. Because of this it outlasts any other coffee maker I have owned and it is by far the best value for the money.I have purchased more expensive models but have always returned to Mr.Coffee. Thank you for your uncomplicated product!

Waste of money

I bought this a couple of months ago and a piece of the filter broke off. When it worked, the coffee was good.

it is ok

I owned this model previously and purchased it again because the plate never peeled or rusted out. Unfortunately, I've had the new one only 6 months and the plate has already peeled. I am very disappointed because it looks terrible. Also, I find grounds in my coffee quite often because of the design of the arm. It causes the filter collapse. This happens even though I take extra care in setting up the filter with the coffee and making sure the arm does not bend the filter. It is very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacing old with a new one.

Only down side is the cups are not 8oz Still brews perfectly every time. Its odd seeing the pot claim I used 4 cups when I fill my 20oz mug. Sneak a cup helps avoid drips to mess up the hot plate. I'd add a picture but my kitchen is not presentable. Sorry.
