I have never owned headphones that went over the ear. I always used my speakers... not any more. These things have excellent sound quality and bring able to control chat and other sounds separately is just a great feature. I jumped in my chair multiple times when things seemed to be right beside me. My surround sound speakers do not hold a candle to these head phones. Buy them. The price compared to the performance is well with it

I'm taking it back. For even toasting - it's a flop !
What's not so great: Only toasts one side or the other at a time & only in the center.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
