Excellent unit to replace one that gave up the ghost. This is a sleek, nice looking toaster that has HUGE slots for anything you want to toast, plus settings for frozen things, and has a an adjustable timer with a wide range from very lightly toasted to well done. Still new, so I can't speak to the longevity of the unit, but loving it so far!

Inexpensive toaster, but well built and easy to use.
I really do like the frozen button, as it tempers the heat delivered and toasts the (insert thing to be toasted here) without burning the outside and leaving the inside cold. whoever thought that up should get an award.

This is the second time I have purchased an Oster toaster. The first one lasted 4years. It was the only basic toaster that was in black and I like the Oster brand so I was willing to try another one. The usual problems arise each time...it toasts one side of the bread better than the other side, and I suspect the handle won't stay down after a few years time like my first one. If you're looking for a basic inexpensive toaster this is it...if you're looking for long life...find another brand.
