Love this phone !

I switched from the iPhone 3gs to the Note 2, and I am glad I did. It takes some getting used to, but I am getting there. This phone can do everything. My only gripe is that I dont know how to use every feature on this phone.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I, like many people, first thought this phone would be way too big for my taste. The more I researched it, the more persuaded I was to give it a try. I have not been disappointed. The phone fits in all of my pockets but I am 6'1 so that might have something to do with it. The features on this phone are really nice. While I don't use the S-pen all that much, having it available for a quick note has been worth it. If you don't like writing then the voice features work great too. It is fast and responsive and the battery will easily last all day with fairly heavy use. I have never run it down to less than 30% battery life and that was when I let my kids play games on it for like 6 hours after I had used it heavily for 10 hours. I highly recommend this phone.

IT IS BIG, BUT YOU DO GET USED TO IT

I got this phone almost 2 weeks ago. I knew other bigger phones were coming but was not comfortable that the newest technology is always the best. The "bugs" that are discovered in new products can linger long term and annoy you everyday.
So I went from a something phone 5 to this. My biggest frustration with phones is typing on them with two thumbs. And with all but android you cannot change keyboards. So I went big and Swype my way through things or use voice to dictate. And both are real big winners for me. I can swype my way through a message with no typos and do it quickly.
The other thing I realized is that I like using a tablet or small netbook while sitting and waiting somewhere, using my phone as a hotspot. But in this case, I don't need to take those things and can use this phablet to text, make calls, and even surf the web or play games with ease.
Battery life is another major plus. I can talk and text throughout the day; I can even spend an hour or two on the web (or in news apps for example) and have plenty of battery life left at the end of the day without needing to re-charge. I used to not use my phone for stuff like this because the battery seemed to go down at least 1% per minute. And when you get below 50%, human nature kicks in and you panic thinking about that "next charge".
The hard part for me was to go to a plastic phone coming from an aluminum phone. It seemed kinda cheesy somehow but I got over that as I realized something this big in aluminum would be too heavy to hold and use anyway. Putting it in a protective case protects it just fine and gives you a good grip.....this is a big phone, you need a case that won't slide out of your hand.
In just about 2 weeks, I have had no complaints, no lock ups, no freezing, no malfunctions of any kind. I will be keeping this phone even though I'm very finicky about my phone choices - looking for the perfect phone and often go through 1-2 returns before I settle on one of them.
I have not settled this time - this time I got exactly what I had always hoped I'd find...something easy to type on, easy to read, and basically a tablet and phone with a battery that lasts all day....plus the display is absolutely gorgeous. The most important was easy to type on (swype is awesome and so is the voice dictation).

Although this is only my Second Smart Phone, it is my 2nd Samsung Droid. I have had it for almost 2 months now and Love it!! It did start out to be a bit big at first, but that was due to my protective case I got. I'm used to the size now. The performance is outstanding. The battery life is the best I have seen in a mobile device, it last's me all day. I use it for all sorts of applications and for up to 5 hrs of constant use and I still have plenty of Battery left. I still have yet to play with all of it's features, but I have plenty of time for that. Picture quality is awesome. I was going to use it till the S4 came out, but I decided to keep it after all. I would definitely recommend this to everyone! and I currently do!!

terrific for videos, games, and reading; and its improved stylus aids productivity. A blazing quad-core processor, a great camera, and strong battery life

The Note 2 is an excellent phone/tablet. I would recommend it to everyone, even people my age, over 60. Could not believe all the tutorials you can get to walk you through everything.

The Samsung Galaxy Note ll help save my Life and manage my Business!

I was in the Critical unit of the Hospital for over 3 months for infection in my spine and no mobility. The Galaxy Note ll make me capable and able to plot my wellness and maintain my financial obligations through out my stay. I was able to manage my business through the versatile pen inputs and many applications I use for my business. "What a Phone" and I will always be dedicated to the Samsung Galaxy Note development in the future.
