Good phone

The software/performance is pretty good. Responsive and software I am pretty content. The outside leaves some to be desired... very slippery and feels cheap. Samsung needs to have a little more control over their products in the United States. Instead of receiving a nice Samsung box with all accessories I was delivered a box that looked like it was about to fall apart and no headphones. For a top end phone I expect a little more than I received. I was presented with a better first impression from the $100 phone I bought my son.
We were first introduced to the Galaxy Note when my wife bought hers a while back. I was instantly jealous, I wasn't able to get one for myself because I wasn't eligible for an upgrade. So I figured I'd wait to see if there would be a #2, amd I am glad I waited. While the original Note is still a great phone, the Note2 takes it to a new level. I think my favorite feature is the S VOICE. Don't take my word for it, go to your local cell phone store and try it out. You wont be disappointed.
This is by far one of the best devices I've ever had the pleasure of using. I had been a user of a certain other phone for the past four years and was bored. I wanted a change and I wanted Android. I didn't just want any old Android phone, I wanted a beast. My eyes were first set on the Galaxy S 3. I was familiar with the original Note but wanted something a bit newer. Then the Note 2 was announced. That was it. It was destined to be mine. Now came the wait.
Fast forward to this very moment where I'm looking at this beauty of a smart phone. It's fast. Beyond fast. I have yet to experience a hiccup, lag, or anything that would remotely hinder the user experience. This is my first time using touch wiz and so far I am truly enjoying it. I get a kick out of some of the so-called gimmicky features and S voice works quite well. The screen...all I can say is WOW. This 5.55 inch HD beauty is almost captivating. I loaded up the new Angry Birds Star Wars and it looked absolutely fantastic. Streamed a movie via netflix and it looked superb. Everything just glistens. The quad core processor truly shines in making everything work so unbelievably smooth. I will end this here in saying that, if you can handle the size of this phone, there is no better bang for your buck going right now. I could go on and on but I'd rather not dish out a novel. Simply put, it's fantastic.
I'm delighted with the Note II after having it about a week. Features, quality, battery life all met or exceeded my expectations. The phone (phablet?) has so many features that there really is a learning curve but Samsung is doing a good job providing help and tips for the major items.
My only negatives are: 1) it is very slippery. Plan on buying a case for it ASAP or you will drop it or it will slide off your car seat, 2) it would have been nice if released with Android 4.2, the speaker is better than my old Samsung Infuse but I would love to have better speakers for speakerphone calls or listening to audio books.
I have been using note 1 since it came out and got note 2 on the day of the launch on ATT. Performance is beyond expectation. Once i watched the tips and tricks on youtube i was very happy with what the phone can do.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, super fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is amazing. It has great built quality, a huge screen, super fast processor and a bunch of cool features. All of my other Android phones I had to switch to a different ROM in order to enjoy my phone at its fullest. With this phone I haven't felt the need to switch to a different ROM or even root it. Everything you could want or need comes with stock or is available via the Google Play Store. Jelly Bean is an amazing update and the S Pen adds great functionality. The only con I could see as a possibility is the phone being too big. To most people that is a feature.
Nice Phone/tablet! I could do more things now. Looking forward for the Note 3. :)
Pros: Durable
Cons: not able to install apps in ext sd

I am 62 and have a bit of an eye issues. Can't see. This phone is just big enough. I can read books, text, take pictures. and I now get pictures of my grandkids. The better to see you with my dear. Got to love it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, good viewing, easy to use
