I couldn't be happier that I selected this model. Easy set-up. Beautiful picture. This is my first smart TV and I'm glad I picked this one. Great value for the money.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight

Works well everything is great and meets my expectations. I just wish bigger tvs were cheaper but everything else is great.

I wish the product had more features, I really like the keyboard feature on my other TV .
Other than that the Samsung TV is the only TV for me.

The Gift That Doesn't Give Much

My wife got me this TV for Christmas. While I was excited to get a Smart TV for the bedroom, after a few minutes, I found the TV was not so smart after all. While it looks pretty and has a good picture, the sound is tinny and cannot be changed. Most of the sound features are grayed out and unavailable, along with the sound-effects features, too. The navigation is difficult via the remote and since it is mounted up on a wall, you can't plug in cables and usb drives easily without moving the TV. The remote has to be twisted and turned in your hand to get the IR signal to register, making typing a chore (due to the mount, a usb keyboard is out of the question).
The box shows a ton of apps, but the actual TV has maybe 30% of them and you can't access the app store (that I have been able to figure out anyway) to try and find apps that you can actually find useful. Then there is the software update (or lack thereof). I tried to update it manually, downloading the latest firmware and placing it on a usb drive and after contorting to reach the usb port, waited 2 minutes after turning on the TV and selecting update from the service menu. It didn't find an update (TV has version 1013, firmware from samsung is in the 1200s!). Now, I've been in the IT field since 1986 and have never been able to figure out how a piece of tech works...until this TV. Nothing intuitive and the manuals are more than useless. Location of the ports and manual buttons for off and on are horrendously placed making it difficult to access when mounted on the wall. Overall, I'd say, while it does work as a TV, it is anything but a smart TV.

Cons: more like a dumb tv, terrible sound, terrible navigation in smart hub, can't update firmware, no useful apps, poor placement of ports, poor placement of manual buttons, remote too narrow, too many buttons jammed on remote, can't access app store to get new apps on this tv

beautiful picture but not too smart

The picture quality is beautiful, setup is easy, the layout of the menu and smart hub is decent. I do not like the apps. Very few apps that most people would even use. Only 1gb of memory and because of some disagreement with adobe i am unable to download flash player and therefore cannot watch any video content that uses flash. I wish i had known this before i purchased it.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, picutre is wonderful
Cons: Did not meet expectations, unable to watch video online, apps are horrible most apps i would never use

Poor color

Out of the box the color is poor. Tried to get face and colors correct but have not been able to.
This is the second set as the first one had a permanent blue hue.
