I am a first time buyer of a Samsung smart TV, and I am disappointed with my experience. The TV's response time to remote commands is extremely slow, apps take a long time to load, connectivity is commonly lost, the app selection is limited, and the software is buggy. Overall I am disappointed with this purchase.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful picture

Received as a gift from my grandson. I love the TV. The picture is simply amazing. My only issue is trying to get flash on the TV
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: unable to get flash

We had no trouble setting up our Samsung Smart TV. The picture is great
And it has so many features. We are learning something new every time we use it!!

watch out -- no flash support

watch out -- samsung does not have a fix for flash support. that is most online tv you would want to watch.
Pros: really none if it can't show flash
Cons: needs flash to work. no fix seemingly available.

Poor quality - very disappointed - TV not suited for wifi only use

purchased the Smart TV version in order to stream Netflix, Amazon. The interface of the Smart Hub was slow and sluggish. The TV takes up to three minutes to connect to the Wi-Fi network (when it does). Until then, it is practically frozen. The Netflix and Amazon app would crash often. It was very difficult to pause, stop or quit the Netflix app. The subtitles arrived 2-3 seconds after the words were spoken. It was extremely difficult to open a menu on the TV interface. You had to press the button several times before it woud appear. The TV takes several minutes to find the wifi and even when it shows "connected", it is not a guarantee that the Netflix app will work without loading continually. If I would have known the quality of this product was this poor, I would have gladly spent more for a better quality product. At the moment I can only use the TV to watch movies that I upload to a USB stick...The TV doesn't work for anything else. I'm very disappointed.

Excellent replacement for old TV

The TV replaced a very old CRT set. We are pleased with the excellent picture quality and overall performance. The attractive potential power savings were another factor in this choice. The only inconvenience is the need for two remotes now. Our cable provider does not provide the code number so we can synchronize the set to the cable remote.
Attaching the base took two of us: one to hold the base and TV and a second person to put the screws in . This could be better designed.

Great tv. Love the SmartHub. Great picture & resolution. It's great being able to watch YouTube on my tv screen. The only small issue
