A solid title

Halo 3 is an extremely solid title and I'm sure most would say that it's the greatest multiplayer title out to date, but Halo 3 is extremely repetitive which some could say about most shooters, but that's just my opinion. The maps in this installment of the Halo series are a serious dissappointment in comparison to the maps in Halo 2 or even the first Halo. some are hugely successful such as Higher Ground and Valhalla, but overall the maps leave something to be desired. Some additions were made that I absolutely love such as the mongoose and the new shiled system but overall this game was a step down from Halo 2.
What's great about it: Great multiplayer w/ online capabilities, solid story
What's not so great: Boring maps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome game little overrated

When i first got this game i instantly thought it was the greatest funnest game. Sure it got little less fun after hours of playing but im still not bored with this game. The story mode was good and fun on co op. Forge and theater really add a little extra to this game. I also enjoy being able to customize your armor. Some of the new maps (High ground, the pit) are crazy good and with forge you can make them even better. The first time you play this game online you'll find it hard to put the controller down. I've had it since september and still play it without getting bored.
with all the weapons,vehicles,maps,gametypes,custom games, its hard to get bored with this game,.
What's great about it: Fun exciting never boring online multiplayer, good graphics and story
What's not so great: Campaign fun yet little on the short side, Bring back some old halo/ halo 2 maps
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a good game for the series and has a pretty good story. Although, there are many problems. Ok, in my opinion, this is just Halo 2 with more guns. And by guns, I mean the exact same guns, just a lot worse than before. Most of the guns that are brought back from Halos 1 and 2 are just re-made into a lot less powerful guns. And the swords now clash together.(Goodbye sword horde) and the sniper has TERRIBLE kick back and you now have to lead your shots.(shoot where the enemy is GOING to be, not where they are at the given point in time) And they also in my opinion have worse maps as well. I mean sure there are a few good maps, but for the most part, there just the same ol' thing. Although, for what Halo 3 loses in multiplayer, it makes up for in campaign. This has a great story and a very good ending for the series. There are still bad things in here as well though. The game is probably around 6-8 hours, on LEGENDARY. And the game gets quite repetative. Even though the Scarabs now have crazy cool explosions, it gets kinda old for the 5th time.
To wrap this all up, I just need to say that this is a very good game, just not good enough to buy the special or legendary editions.
What's great about it: Good story
What's not so great: many
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the game is kind of like of the other one before it the story line is kind of the same but over all its an alright game
What's great about it: good game play, and alright guns

Best Game Ever?

Yes, this game is great, everything is great about it, but if you don't have Xbox Live, it can bee boring after a while. If you have Live I would go without questions to get this, without Live, get Live first then get Halo 3.
Overall this is the best game I've ever played
What's great about it: great co-op, campain, forge, theater, armour, acheivements
What's not so great: bad without Xbox Live
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good game....not great

So, what more can be said about Halo, it's a classic game that will undoubtedly go down in history as such. However as far as first person shooters go, the game is getting slightly dated. The storyline is continued from previous games, and theres nothing new and exciting about it.
The online game is nice however
What's great about it: It's a classic.....
What's not so great: Same storyline, getting a bit old
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is it. It's the best FPS game ever made. Without a doubt. The graphics and gameplay are amazing and the online play is awesome. Get this game.

this game is great. but without live it is disappointing. the game goes by fast, and with no replay value online is almost necessary.
What's great about it: graphics, online play
What's not so great: didnt live up to hype
