this is a great game....story mode was awesome, mulitplayer is the best experience ever. all new maps and new weapns make this game great.
What's great about it: new weapons...maps...etc
What's not so great: none

I can sit at this game for hours. Its the best xbox 360 game in my opinion. Awesome online action. A must have game for any gamer of any skill level.
What's great about it: Non stop action
What's not so great: If you have somewhere to go, your plans will be ruined.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great game, its a good shooter, strategy, so good stages images, grafics and movements. good weapons!
but only two PJ for playing :(

great end to the saga

the sage ends with this third halo game that tops the other 2. the campaign is spectacular and the online play is fantastic. i highly recommend this to anyone who owns xbox 360, it is a must have.

Halo 3 is a fantastic ending to the Halo Trilogy. I loved the campaign but would have liked a longer one. Xbox Live allows this game to reach its full potential. With people forging maps and creating their own styles of the game it gives you TONS of things to keep you busy. Buy a 3 month Subscription jsut to test it, you will want more. Unlike COD4 you can have up to 4 users playing Xbox live off one console sat the same time. If you own a Xbox 360, you will need this game in your collection.
What's great about it: Loads of fun, always updated (Xbox Live), a fun game for all ages
What's not so great: Can grow boring after several months
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cool game, better than the first two, but these days COD4 (Call of Duty 4) is better, and more realistic
What's great about it: Good campaign
What's not so great: In online play, if you are not on the winning team, you get nothing

Good, but easily bores me...

Halo 3 is not a bad game, I'd say it's more of a 3.5 than a 3 but definitely not 4/5... If you've played the other Halo games by all means get it, but I personally am bored out of my mind with multiplayer! Yeah, they make new maps, yeah, there's plenty to do as far as achievements, but every single kill that you do with your assault rifle or battle rifle ends up about the same... pump him full of led until he's dead, OR when you're close enough to finish him with a bash! Killing people by splattering them is only interesting so many times... 4.5 stars on campaign, 2.5 stars on multiplayer... or maybe I'm just picky, idk. I've played about seven hundred matches and it ain't fun anymore, not for me. I know people that have played, like, 1500 matches and still love it, but I'm bored with less than half of there experience. It's really a question of "what do you want it for" and "how easily do you get bored?"
What's great about it: Campaign Experience, and Achievements
What's not so great: Very repetitive multiplayer...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not too pleased

Halo is of my favorite gaming franchises and I have played both Halos 1 and 2 many many times because they are both excellent games. But now is the hour of our discontent for Halo 3 has been released. Almost everything that was good from the other Halos has not been found and of these attributes is the story and the state of the art graphics. Most people who buy the game will find that the ending is not quite what you would want to happen (maybe you should play the whole game on legendary difficulty) and that the graphics are very much over rated. But still the game is very fun, especially on co-op mode and shooting down crazy aliens is just part of it if not most of it. Overall, this is a pretty good game even for fans or beginners to the franchise, it's just not perfect.
What's great about it: The physics engine, explosions, and vehicles
What's not so great: The cool yet unsatisfying ending, nothing like its predecessors, and it's the final Halo game
I would recommend this to a friend!
