terrible water filtration system

The very first time I changed the water filter the mechanism to install a new one stripped and had to be replaced. Six months after the repair the same thing happened. The company I got my warranty from went broke (could it be too many malfuntioning LG refrigerators?) I am now buying bottled water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this refrigerator 8 1/2 years. It went out after the freeze. LG repair man gladly came out to repair the compressor (which was under warranty) and fixed it the issue the same day. Up and running in no time.
