We love the design and features. Fortunately we had a five year warranty because in year 2 the electronic board had to be replaced and then in year 3 the compressor had to be replaced. We are in year 3 so hopefully that will be the end of the required repairs.

The freezer holds twice as much food as my last standard fridge. The compressor went out at 3 years but warranty took care of that and it was easy to make a claim, they stand behind their products.

I have had several issues with defrosting over the years. The compressor failed and had to be replaced. The defrost drain line clogged and most recently the evaporator fan failed. This is in a six year old unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately our experience with this fridge hasn't been all good. The features, compartments, and space is excellent for a family of 5, but I've had the freezer side repaired twice and the fridge isn't cool as it should and also had to get the computer replaced. Still with all these repairs the refrigerator is not working as it should. Maybe we bought a melon but that has been our experience. Honestly LG is our go to brand because we like the quality of the product but unfortunately this wasn't our experience with this refrigerator.
