In the 2.5 years since purchasing this fridge, we’ve had SIX separate repair calls to fix issues that seem to pop up one at a time every few months. Fans, compressors, ice makers - all have failed on us at least once....so far. I love the design, look, and especially size of this fridge, including the quick access door. Unfortunately, none of that matters if the thing refuses to work properly.
Therefore, if you choose to go against your better judgement and do indeed purchase this product, get the repair warranty - you WILL need it!

we purchased in 2015 and the refrigerator has quit 3 times since then. Repairs took 2, 3 and 4 weeks this last time to get fixed. Been told by the repair people this is a problem refrigerator and they have been replacing compressor, condenser, evaporator and drier units several times a week. Recommended me to purchase a different brand if and when this problem comes back. We love the features and have many other LG appliances with no issues. Too bad on their refrigerators, cannot recommend purchasing one.

I bought this item few years ago. Compressor has been broken down twice. I believe LG products are not good at all

I've owned 3 refrigerators in my life, This one was without a doubt is the worse. The upside compacity, looks, and easy to clean. The down side the unreliability, poor ice capacity and customer service. Covid-19 can't be to blame for everything, I don't recommend buying a pre-owed one either. .
