[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After ~2 1/2 years, the compressor on my LG fridge died - while I was out of town, of course! I contacted six different repair companies, and five of them told me that they no longer service LG because they break down frequently and the parts are very difficult to get. I was out of a fridge for 3 1/2 weeks before LG escalated my repair to get someone in to fix it. When it's working, I love it. When I didn't have a fridge for almost a month - not so much.

I bought this refrigerator about 5 years ago. Worked great for the first 3.5 years, then started to have cooling issue for about a year, freezer about 40F and refrigerator 50-60F from this summer, it was so annoying with the spoiled food/milk and soft ice-cream. Called for support and replaced couple of parts including the line compressor. After fix, it goes back to normal. When it works, it is great. It is spacious inside and lights properly, and it looks very nice both inside and outside. I never tried its wifi function, will probable try it now.
So if the key parts (such as compressor or condenser) of this product can last longer, I may say it is a great refrigerator and I would recommend it.

I have lost everything in my refrigerator and even went to stay somewhere else for the 2 WEEKS it was broken. DO NOT BUY!!!

Condenser replaced 2x/5 years & just broke again

Bought this fridge in 2016. Condenser went out in 2018 and again in 2020 and then again last week. Last time I had to pay the repair man for labor and install and they said I’d have to do the same this time. Not with my time or aggravation. So frustrated they won’t stand behind their product or their condensers!! Such a shame LG. Will never buy your brand again.
