Really like features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressed. Love the water filter - it does a great job. No longer using bottled water. Really like all of the space / shelving & drawer flexibility / quality. I did think I’d use the door in door feature - but I use it all of the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this unit for a year now and are 85% satisfied. Drawn to LG becuase of Black Stainless Steel. It does what is suppose to do---keep food cold in fridge and frozen in freezer. However, the people that engineered the other important aspects are clueless. 1. Filling a container with filtered water is great idea BUT when the tip of the glass or rim of water bottle touch the tab to release water, it is not good. Germs reside from one glass could be transferred to another glass--not sanitary. Oh by the way, don't expect to fill a glass while someone else opens a door---the water will stop..duh stupid design. BTW my previous 23yr old fridge had colder water dispensed. 2. Wine bottle----who doesn't need to put a wine bottle in fridge to be chilled----lay it down yes.... after it is opened there is no vertical place to put it UNLESS you wish to rearrange shelves OR take that one shelf (that slides in and out) and reduce it storage area inside. ALl that because a bottle of wine does not stand in the door in door ---nope -- doesn't fit George.

We have only 2 small complaints about this wonderful appliance. One is that the open door signal could be louder. The other is that the door-in-door has to be closed with deliberation or it won't latch. Otherwise, we love it!
Pros: Quality, easy to use

During the few days of it taking it's final breath, I researched and found this refrigerator to not only fit in the space but, my budget as well. The door in door feature is terrific, and it's easy it to keep clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this a month ago to replace a smaller side by side. Really like the extra room and the deep bottom freezer. Door in door feature is more useful than expected once I got used to it. It is quieter than our old one also.
